The Sculpting Festival held in Haifa, at the initiative of Bazan Ltd., had an artistic and ecologic ambience. Dozens of artists were asked to give their personal interoperation and paint on the Cooling Towers, structures that used to symbolize the city's refineries and now, while out of use, became the symbol of the city of Haifa itself.
The goal of the event was to highlight the connection between society and the environment, while emphasizing Bazan's willingness to assist this combination.
The special shape of the cooling towers, along with their significance and power as a symbol of the city, made the connection between society and the environment successful and natural. The artists created original and unique sculptures, serving as an impressive and significant installation in the city.
